Indian car maker Maruti has today unveiled its Ciaz sedan concept at the ongoing 2014 Auto Expo in Noida. It is said that the Ciaz would replace the Maruti SX4 in the future and would also act as the design basis for all future Maruti sedan models.
The Ciaz will have two engine variants. In the petrol version it would get Maruti Ertiga’s 1.4-liter K-series engine, while the diesel model would get a 1.6-liter multijet engine. As far as the transmission of the Maruti Ciaz is concerned, it is said that it will get the Automated Manual transmission currently fitted in the Maruti Celerio.
On the inside, the Ciaz comes with bigger space and much better equipments.
