It’s Official: Hyundai Discontinues Accent In India

There was a time when the looks of Hyundai Accent would give in a good blow to the top notch names of C Class segment. As launched in 1999, and since 14 years from then, Hyundai feels that Accent is now an old school feel, hence discontinuing it is the better solution, which the officials at Korean organization have taken right now.  As said in the statement, a senior official of Korean carmaker claims, “We will be launching our small car both in petrol and diesel variants. The move to phase out Accent is taken in that direction.” Here we can conclude that, the upcoming i10 maybe its correct strategic answer.

As expected from the spy shots, new generation i10 will fill in the gaps between i20 and i10, also capable enough to carry the responsibility for a brand new family that will include a sub 4 meter sedan, maybe a MPV, and some other cool assortments at a near future.

Getting back to a year before Y2k we came to know that Santro and Accent initiated the trendsetting legacy for Hyundai on Indian shores. It was all continued till 2006, and when the Koreans slipped in Verna in the market, the downside of Accent just started peeping in from the corner sales. Then many tits and bits took place within the organization in favor of Verna, which now finally ended with the discontinuation of Accent.

Hyundai India discontinues Accent
As can be smelled from the burns, Hyundai will roll out new bug very soon. It is tempting to share the space with Honda Amaze and Maruti Swift, which the duos are doing very well for the their organization, breaking records and all, whilst of making the new one too.

Not much to say in the context but we can conclude, Maruti Esteem will now heave a sigh of relief, and also the used segment of Honda City on an important note.
