Jaguar C-X17 Spotted Testing First Time In UK

Quite settled after a long brouhaha, Jaguars’ upcoming crossover/SUV has once again raised its head up in the league of spy-shots. As seen for the first time in UK under the production guise, the new Jag is wearing the extended wheelbase body of Range Rover Evoque. A wider grin on the face is mimicking it to be the C-X17 under the skin.

Reportedly, in the engine bay C-X17 is going to offer the new options of upcoming Ingenium family which its upcoming sedan XE too is going to plot. The iQ architecture pinned is of the aforesaid compact Jaguar sedan. Diesel and petrol both are going to be powered by 4-cylinder unit, where the new facility at Wolverhamton, UK, had also started producing them.

Apparently, launch still looks quite far away, where European roll-out is speculated to take place in 2016.

On the rivalry ground, Jaguar C-X17 will take on the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLK.
