Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd, India’s leading SUV manufacturer announced that its mini truck Maxximo has crossed 1 lakh milestones in the domestic sales since it was launched.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive Automotive sector, Mr P. N. Shah said that Maxximo has gained its reputation as an advanced technology scheme that offers more earning with lesser fatigue to its owners. And in the process of this it had raised the bar for the comfort, power, fuel efficiency and safety.
He also added that several marketing agencies like TNS and IMRB and various mini truck owners stated Maxximo as number one in the segment for power, technology and car like features. Mahindra is confident about delivering the brand’s promise, it is sure to keep its owners ahead of other. The spirit of “Raho Hamesha Aage” has been incorporated in all of brand’s communication with customers.
A recent initiative from Mahindra to reach out to the owners of Maxximo has revealed how this mini-truck has positively impacted their life and has lighted thousand others. Apart from the mini-trucks, the Maxximo platform also offers 3 more products in the passenger and load carrying segment i.e. the CNG variant of mini-truck, Maxximo Mini Van VX (With sliding doors) and Maxximo mini Van.
Stating the potential of the Maxximo brand, Mr. P. N. Shah added that in less than 2 years the vehicles on Maxximo platform has captured more than 25% of the market and Mahindra is hoping this platform to contribute in a big way to the growth of the sector.
Maxximo is powered by a 2 cylinder C2CRDe engine equipped with DOHC technology which generates a power output of about 25 HP. This ensures superior pickup and greater acceleration. Maxximo too possess greater fuel efficiency and offer larger loading area that can support about 850 kg of payloads. The vehicle is equipped with rigid 7 leaf rear suspension, thicker wheel rims and stronger cargo body.
Maxximo also offers much more comfort with its bigger more comfortable seats and the cable operated gear shift that provides smoother car like experience. It also possesses more enhanced safety features like frontal crash protector and drive by wire system that makes overtaking much safer. The load sensing proportioning valve reduces the pedal effort and ensures greater control over braking.
