Mahindra Quanto on Discount of Rs. 44,000: EcoSport Effect

Instead of reeling under the heat of Ford EcoSport, Mahindra had decided to take up the initiative of providing its Quanto for a discount of Rs. 44,000 at the best.

Being launched at a price tag of Rs. 5.59 lakh ex showroom Delhi, Ford’s compact SUV is taking on everyone in the industry with its stride. Whether it maybe a hatchback or a fully fledged SUV like Renault Duster, everyone who falls in the pricing band of more than Rs. 5 lakh and less than Rs. 10 lakh are bound to get the blow of EcoSport at some point of time in the market. And nowadays it seems true as well, because reflecting the effect of this striding bug, Mahindra had finally dropped the price of Quanto. And on the other side of flip Nissan too had launched slightly upgraded hatchback Micra, being called as “Micra Active” in the new avatar, for Rs. 3.5 lakh ex showroom Delhi.

The discounts on the Indian compact MPV/SUV brings the actual fact in terms of ‘benefits’ provided worth 44k. Some of those benefits which will trail the car are named as free insurance, exchange bonus of Rs. 10,000 and corporate/government discount of Rs. 6,000. Whilst only this was made known to us for now, but we are sure that some of the clichés might be revealed soon. Hoping that the list may also include some freebies and other kind attributes.
