The Mahindra Xylo has been offered with a straight Rs.60,000 discounts. This is a significant reduction considering that the base model of this MPV sells at Rs.7 lakh only. The Mahindra Scorpio, which has also been priced in a similar range, has been offered with a little lower cash discount amounting to Rs.40,000. To round it off, the Mahindra Verito has been offered at a discount of Rs. 35,000. For people who wish to take advantage of these attractive offers, it is important that you act fast. This is because these discounts will be valid only till 25th December and will not be extended even a day further.
Mahindra and Mahindra is taking this annual year ending sales activity to celebrate another important milestone of the company. The auto manufacturer from India has touched impressive sales figures of 30 lakh units. The annual year ending sales proved to be the perfect platform for the auto maker to celebrate this achievement with its customers. The company is also buoyed by the fact that it managed to sell an impressive 17,000 units of its vehicles in November, more significant due to the fact that most car manufacturers did not perform to expectations in this month.
Even its sedan, the Mahindra Verito, which has till date not achieved much of a success, performed creditably with sales of 1,127 units. Double delight was also provided to the car manufacturer by its latest launch, the Mahindra XUV500. The vehicle won its manufacturer two awards at the recently held award ceremony of BBC Top-Gear India. The vehicle won the award for being the most value for money car in 2011 and more importantly also won the readers’ choice award as well. This adds to the fact that the Mahindra XUV500 has also been given a tremendous reception in terms of sales, since its launch a few months back.
