One of the world’s largest fast food chains, McDonalds has collaborated with Maruti Suzuki for their launching their promotional Eeco-Meal campaign. As part of the campaign, the contest winner will be able to drive away with the new Maruti Suzuki Eeco.

It is based around Maruti’s theme of a ‘family that eats together, rides together’. McDonalds’ Sr. Director of Marketing, Rameet Arora, said that at McDonalds the constantly strive to make sure that families have an enjoyable time at McDonalds. By this offer, they are extending the customer’s ”I’m lovin it” experience, by letting them win a Eeco.

This scheme is valid for any family that visits a McDonalds and purchases either a breakfast meal, happy meal or value meal. Upon purchasing this, they will have to fill out a contest form to participate. This from comprises of questions regarding the Eeco, along with a question to submit their witty slogan entry based on the model. The winner of the contest will be chosen depending on the clever slogan he submits on the Eeco.

Maruti Suzuki India’s Chief GM of Marketing, Shashank Srivastava, explained about the campaign saying that as the Eeco is MPV targeted at families, they want to increase its presence among as many family members as they can. Their collaboration with McDonalds will aid them in reaching out to new families by creating more happy moments for them.

This contest will be open up to July 30, 2011 across all McDonalds outlets in the southern and western regions of India. It is open only to Indian citizens above 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
