McLaren Limited Edition MSO 650S Revealed

Who said the McLaren 650S wasn’t an eye-catcher? We guess no one, except those who aren’t a big buff of British car brute. Hope so, in an order to retain its foothold strong in the ground, and also to deliver something exciting at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the adored McLaren announced a special edition of 650S that will be limited to 50 units.

The limited run model is actually taken into account from the MSO 650S Coupe Concept shown in China earlier this year. The strong response from the audience had knuckled them to do so in production. McLaren Special Operations (MSO) team is entitled to take the responsibility of this project.

Briefing the exterior changes, most of them are rescued from the concept. The carbonfiber trims can be spotted on the side-wings and the central section of rear bumpers. Set of Palladium coloured 10-spoke Super Lightweight alloy wheels, with a unique diamond cut effect to the inside edge of each spoke saves 4 kg over the standard-fit design, and are held in place by lightweight titanium wheel bolts.

Inside the cabin, the MSO 650S limited edition is mostly bare-basics with its roots deeply engraved into the racing. This time the British super car maker upgraded to a more sophisticated and a slice of luxury with the carbon black leather and Alcantara on upholstery and stylish satin lacquered carbon fibre detailing extends throughout the driver and passenger zones. A signature dedication plaque mounted to the MSO-branded carbon fibre sill panel completes the enhancements.
