Mercedes-Benz is bombarding the Indian market with stacks of products for every segment. While there was lot of hype in the industry with the launch of the ML class few weeks back, that was sold out within days from its launch, the German luxury carmaker now announces the special edition of its entry level C-Class.
We love the C63 AMG for its powerful engine and agile dynamics. As a part of the AMG tuned cars, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is simply a spectacular machine. So, when Mercedes announces the launch of a special edition, we know that the results are going to be of titanic proportions. Similar to the recently launched Mercedes-Benz ML-Class, the special edition C-Class will sport beefed up AMG body kit with an aggressive appeal. Other special edition touch-ups may include larger dia alloys and wider air dams. The special edition persona will follow inside the car, however, there is no word on the packaging yet.
While the details on power plant department are a bit sketchy at the moment, we can speculate that the special edition C-Class will sport the same 1.8-litre petrol motor featured in the facelifted C-Class. It comes with a 7-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission. The tri-star brand will reveal the car this week and it will hit the showroom by June end. Watch this space for more details when the car breaks cover.
