New ‘Fluidic’ Verna from Hyundai Gets 5,000 Bookings across India

Hyundai Motors India, the nation’s largest exporter of cars and second largest manufacturer of cars just recently launched their new Fluidic Verna mid-size sedan. The new Hyundai Verna was launched on 11 May, this year in New Delhi where it was received quite well, managing to get around 5,000 bookings across India already.

The Verna is available across India boating of class leading and much acclaimed features which differentiate it from the available crop of cars in the market today. Reporting on this huge achievement by the model in such a short time, the HMIL CEO and MD said that this was a great achievement for them to receive an encouraging reaction from their recently launched Fluidic Verna.

The Verna leads in its class by providing a range of futuristic and premium design elements which are based on their Fluidic Sculpture Design Philosophy. The new Hyundai Verna boasts of leading design as well as well appointed and luxurious interiors with the latest features and technology which are above their league. The mid-size sedan is available at the introductory price of around Rs.6,99,000 to Rs.10,74,500, according to ex-showroom New Delhi.

The new sedan is available in four different engine choices to choose from. These include the 1.4l VTVT which delivers around 107PS power at 6,300 rpm and a peak torque of 13.8kgm at 5,000rpm, the 1.6l petrol VTVT engine which delivers around 123PS max power at 6,300rpm and a peak torque of 15.8kgm at 4,200rpm, the diesel Common Rail 1.4l CRDi engine which delivers around 90PS max power at 4,000rpm and a peak torque of 22.43kgm at 1,750 to 2,750rpm, and lastly the 1.6l diesel VGT CRDi engine which delivers a range topping 128PS max power at 4,000rpm and a peak torque of 26.5kgm at 1,900 to 2,750rpm.

Both the 1.6l diesel and petrol engines are paired to an automatic four speed transmission, however you can also avail of a manual transmission with the four different engine options. The 1.4l petrol motor is super efficient giving 17.43kmpl mileage according to ARAI figures. The diesel 1.4l variant clocks in 23.5kmpl mileage, which gives the Fluidic Verna one of the greatest fuel economies available in this segment.

The new Hyundai Fluidic Verna can be found in 10 different trim options and is available in 6 different and exciting colours. Hyundai has already begun deliveries of their new Fluidic Verna across India.
