New Hyundai Verna Facelift Launched At Rs 9.30 Lakh Indian Drives

Hyundai India has big plans for the year 2020 and as the industry is switching from BS4 to BS6 emission levels, they too are launching new facelift versions of their existing models with BS6 engines. Earlier this month Hyundai launched its all-new Creta for Rs 9.99 lakhs and now Hyundai has launched its Facelift 2020 Verna for Rs 9.30 Lakh (ex-showroom).

South Korean carmaker Hyundai has launched the facelifted Verna, with prices starting from Rs 9.30 lakh and going all the way up to Rs 15.10 lakh, ex-showroom New Delhi. Along with the design of the car, Hyundai has also overhauled the powertrain options for the sedan. The updated Verna will be available in four trims and five engine-gearbox combinations, translating into a total of 11 versions. The facelift sees the midsize sedan receive cosmetic updates, inside and out, along with getting more equipment and a line-up of new engines.


Key Highlights of the Spirited New VERNA:

It is India’s First Fully Connected Midsize Sedan with over 45 Connected Features. It is powered with BS6 Diesel and Petrol engines promising energetic and youthful performance with 1.0 Litre Turbo GDI engine with 7 Dual Clutch Transmission,1.5 Litre BS6 Petrol with 6 Manual Transmission & Intelligent Variable Transmission and 1.5L BS6 Diesel with 6 Manual Transmission & 6 Automatic Transmission.

New Hyundai Verna comes with Several First-in-Segment features such as Digital Cluster with color TFT, Front Ventilated Seats, Twin Tip Muffler design, Smart Trunk, Emergency Stop Signal, Wireless Phone Charger, ECO coating, Luggage Net & Hooks, Rear USB Charge and Arkamys Premium Sound to list a few.

The Verna facelift rivals the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento, each of whom are set to become petrol-only models from April 1.
