The unique GT-R which is blessed with Bolt’s signature and features special interior fittings are finished in real gold. As the part of Bolt’s partnership with Nissan, he will be working on the limited edition run model of special GT-R with Nissan’s specialists. The details about this will be delivered later. The Olympic winner has already started celebrating his medal horde from the Olympics by mounting special Bolt edition “Bolt GT-R” for his own use, after testing different special GT-R models at Nissan’s proving ground. Chief Operating officer, Toshiyuki Shiga said that Nissan shared the excitement and spirit of audiences at the Olympics and there is no one better than Usain Bolt to translate that spirit into greater experience. He further added that Bolt will be contributing to the “WHAT IF_” campaign for Nissan.

The campaign will be featuring Nissan’s iconic products and its path breaking technologies in the billboards at airports around the world. The campaign is a part of the firm’s Power 88 plan, which is aimed at capturing 8% operating margin and 8% market share. To continue with the moment, the TV commercial will also feature the Nissan LEAF electric vehicle, tagged with “What if you could drive the future today?” This TV commercial will be aired on the six major international TV networks from this month. The plan seems quite obvious and simple but the impact it will be having on the sales of Nissan still lies to be seen.
