Nissan India changes its headquarters

Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) after the price hike details and programs to bring in the Infiniti brand have announced today its decision to move into a new Corporate Office on Venkatnarayana  Road, T. Nagar, Chennai. This sprawling facility is spread over an area of 13,500 square feet and will be used to address to the growing functionality of Nissan in India. Employees from the Program Management team, Product Planning, After Sales, Corporate Planning, Communications, Exports, Finance, and Human Resource Functions would be housed in here. On this occasion while addressing the employees in the new Corporate Headquarters for Nissan India, Managing Director and CEO, NMIPL, Kiminobu Tokuyama mentioned that keeping in mind the growing trend of the company, NIMPL has decided to shift to this facility and in this way both Renault (which has its facility here) and Nissan can take joint decisions in a short span of time. Renault has also got its corporate office in the same building. In the meanwhile, the Mumbai office for Nissan will still be the regional office as a part of the members from the homologation team, the product planning team as also the after sales  personnel from Hover Automotive India would still be housed in there. Hover, it may be recalled is the after sales partner for Nissan India.
