Nissan to launch Evalia in phases starting September 25th

Like many other car manufacturers, Nissan is also gearing up put its new products on sale in the Indian market so that it could also reap the benefits of potential increase sales during the forthcoming festive season.

Nissan Evalia is all set to launch Evalia later this month – on 25th of September. Nissan will launch the Evalia Urban Class Utility Vehicle – as the manufacturer terms it – in various phases. While it will be launch in New Delhi on 25th of September, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore will witness its launch on 26th, 27th and 28th of September.

The Evalia boasts a premium design, and the cabin looks quite attractive, thanks to the use of good quality plastic and appropriate fit. The car is quite spacious. The spacious legroom makes the cabin very roomy and the seating very comfortable. Users will be able to fold the seats on the third row to create an additional boot space of 2,100 litres bringing the entire storage space to 2,900 litres.

It draws power from its K9K 1.5-litre diesel engine that delivers 85bhp of power and 200Nm of torque at 3750 and 2,000 rpm respectively.  Overall, the car promises to offer a very competent handling and comfort.

When it comes to fuel efficiency, the Nissan Evalia delivers 19.3 kilometers per litre (kmpl), which will be an additional benefit to the Indian customers, who are currently burdened with soaring fuel prices.

The Nissan Evalia Urban Class Utility Vehicle is expected to hit Indian roads before the end of this month. The manufacturer is yet to announce pricing for the car, but ir is widely expected to be available for some where between Rs. 9 lakh and 12 lakh.

Other noteworthy launched this month include Mahindra Quanto and Mercedes-Benz B-Class.
