The Chevrolet Corvette is not only famous in USA, but has attracted fans around the globe. Corvette has increased the temperature with the news of its latest model, the Corvette C7.

Corvette C7 will see the light of day at the Detroit Auto Show in January. But it is also expected, the production model will go under the hammer before the auto show at Barrett-Jackson website just like the 2013 SRT Viper GTS. The Viper GTS was sold at a whopping price of $300,000, which is $200,000 more than the list price of $100,000. An additional $200,000 is just a small amount of money to become a big part of GM’s history.

Barrett-Jackson website doesn’t say anything clearly about the Corvette C7. Under the lot number 3016, website says “Have you ever wanted to own a piece of Chevy history? This may be your chance! A special Chevrolet model will be revealed during the auction where bidders will have the opportunity to take home this one-of-a-kind vehicle”. The website didn’t even reveal the car’s name, but from sources we can expect that it may be Chevrolet Corvette. An insider from the industry also confirmed that the American carmaker was in talks with the organizers of website regarding web post of the car.

The website also says that the auctioned money will go as charity to the center for creative studies. The car will be sold on 19th January 2013 at 8.30 p.m. approximately.

It will be one of the best steps by Chevrolet, if taken. It will give a chance to the pride owner of Corvette C7 to do a charity as well.
