Riding high on the success in the compact SUV segment, Renault has today revealed a new multi-media system named as ‘Media NAV’ for its Duster SUV. The NAV features 18cm touch display, telephony, radio, navigation etc with multimedia functionalities and will be stationed in the Duster’s dashboard.
Sumit Sawhney, Executive Director of Marketing and Sales, said that Renault Duster is a unique offering in the Indian auto market that offers power of an SUV and comfort of a sedan that too at an affordable price.
With the incorporation of the Media NAV, Renault Duster now offers more convince and inflight entertainment at the fingertip of the customers. The Media NAV menu offers easy access to the functions such as radio, telephone, media, settings and even satellite navigation. The Bluetooth technology allows drivers to make hands free calls along with contact book sync and managing their call history.
The new system will also allow Duster customers to connect their iPods and Smartphones with the system via USB or jack socket that are situated on the dashboard. The Media NAV can be operated via the touch display or through the controls mounted on the steering. The Media NAV’s navigational system operates with the 2D, 3D and Bird view graphics. The Media NAV entertainment package is available with the 85 PS RxL and with the 110 PS RxZ versions with the price tag of Rs. 10,79,000 and Rs. 11,99,000 (Price at ex-showroom Delhi).
