Skoda looks very much serious about its future. Unveiling the new Octavia and getting a positive response from car critics all around the world, made Skoda more confident in its future course of action. The Czech carmaker will now replace its old logo with the new one on Europe-spec Fabia and Roomster. A New logo was unveiled at 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. At the launch, the Carmaker said that new logo is the reflection of company’s future plans.
Apart from new logo, ‘Skoda’ will be seen spelt at the rear of the models, which was never seen in the past. Carmaker will also use new typeface for model name, TDI or TSI badge and other details.
The first car to get the new logo was Citigo and the second is Europe based new Skoda Rapid, which was launched in 2012. Fabia and Roomster are at 3rd and 4th place respectively.
Needless to say, the new logo will be seen replacing the current logo everywhere. We expect the new Octavia to be launched with the new logo in India as well. Skoda has claimed that it will launch new models after every six months and that too in every market of the world, so we expect the new logo to convey the same.
