Skoda were supposed to launch their souped up Laura vRS variant today in India, however the launch event got cancelled due to incessant rains from the past two days. However, in a surprising show, the company went ahead and launched their car online. The link shows the website and details of the car. Cornering head lamps along with the LED pearl necklace is something which would be the most appreciated feature of this car. A new 6.5 inch LCD infotainment system has also been configured for this car. Unfortunately, this car still misses out on the steering mounted controls.

As of now, the company is giving out 16 inch Draconis alloy wheels, dual exhaust pipes and also all the exquisite body kit. As is the norm, a sunroof is also offered. Over the standard Laura, Skoda are charging Rs 5 lakhs premium and the ex-show room price of the Laura vRS stands at Rs 15,19,906. This is an introductory price and chances are that it may increase soon after. The vRS variant of the Laura comes with a 1.8 liter, 160 Bhp motor mated to a 6 speed manual transmission.
