Tata Motors, the leading automobile manufacturing company in India introduced its all new redesigned multi utility vehicle for astonishing price tag, Tata Sumo Gold for Rs. 5.04 lakhs. The Sumo Gold has been completely redesigned, and the company has integrated plenty of changes for reviving the dying demand for vehicles during the current car industry slowdown. Currently, Mahindra and Mahindra also introduced its redesigned Bolero. There are quite a few cosmetic changes on interiors and exteriors that are never ignored when redesigned version is introduced. The Sumo Gold offers two engine choices one is the Common Rail Diesel 3.0 liter massive and the other is Tata Safari – TCIC 3.0 liter engine; both of which are mated with five-speed manual transmission.

The Common Rail Diesel 3.0 liter engine is a vast improvement from the past turbocharged engine with boost in power of 80 horsepower with remarkable 250 newton meters of torque. The TCIC Direct Injected 3.0 liter engine is good for producing 250 newton meters of torque. The estimated fuel economy for Sumo Gold is 14.07 kilometers per litre, which is really impressive for an MUV in its class. The cabin inside Sumo Gold offers leather wrapped steering wheel with hydraulic power assistance, stylish center silver console and dashboard, plush fabrics, excellent head leg and shoulder room, and modern HVAC with intuitive controls, advanced stereo system, engine immobilizer key and power windows. It also gets a full featured instrument panel that informs you regarding every essential detail about Sumo Gold. It will be available in four different trim levels; these include GX, CX, EX and LX and will range from Rs. 5.23 lakh onwards.
