Come April 1 st 2020, Toyota Corolla Altis will be retired in India. The reason is the starting of BS-VI emission norms. The Corolla Altis was to have a Suzuki badged version for sale through Maruti’s Nexa chain of showrooms, but as people are more inclined towards SUVs, sale of executive sedans have recently gone downhill.

This forced Suzuki to have second thoughts about selling the car and probably this is why it went against rebadging and selling it through its Nexa showrooms.
