As Etios not resulting satisfactory outputs from the car owners’ market, Toyota Kirloskar Motor is seemed to have decided launch the same in crossover avatar for the SUV-fanatic Indian car buyers.
The Toyota Etios Cross, which one can see in the images posted below, is what the CrossPolo to Volkswagen. Designed with a mix of crossover and hatchback the Etios Cross is seen to be bagging the black plastic moulding from front to rear inclusive of sides and silver skid guard as well as roof rail. Diamond cut alloys, silver door handles and Cross badges to add pinnacle towards the exclusive package.
We expect the interiors to also receive some special treatment in form of air-con highlights, Etios Cross badging embroidered on headrest etc.
Just to inform that, the Etios Cross was spotted at Magarpatta City in Pune. So it may sound obvious to get unveiled at upcoming 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. And our fraternity may see it launching on our shores soon.
Most likely V and VD trims of Etios will see this variant coming to India, just what the carmaker has performed at the launch of this vehicle in Brazil sometime in 2013.
Premium of Rs. 80,000 expected to be charged for Etios Cross over the price of top-end Etios.
