Toyota Kirloskar Motor sells 8,328 units in April 2014 – Faces Decline

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is faced with a decline in the graph of April 2014, sold 8,328 units compared to 10,456 units in April 2013.

Toyota exported Etios in 766 numbers during the month.

In the domestic market, Toyota delivered 7,562 vehicles to customers as compared to 9,007 units in Apr 2013.

Mr. N Raja, Director and Senior Vice – President, Sales and Marketing said “We resumed normal production on 22nd April and were carrying out limited operations until then. We thank our customers for their support and understanding during this difficult time. It is our endeavor to make the deliveries of vehicles on a timely basis. ”

Toyota Etios Cross

However, the new Etios Cross, crossover/compact SUV version of the Etios hatchback with plastic cladding an no technical change & measuring the same dimension, is about to launch soon in the coming days. Price would be slightly more than the standard version. It will rival the Volkswagen CrossPolo and the upcoming Fiat Avventura.
