Volkswagen is all set to launch its Polo GT on April 25th. The Polo GT will be fitted with a 1.2-liter directly-injected turbocharged TSI petrol engine capable of churning out a max output of 105bhp. The engine will be mated to a DQ200 7-speed DSG transmission. Manual transmission option will not be there in the Polo GT.
The body of the Polo GT will be similar to the Polo SR edition, which means it will have a roof spoiler, front, rear and side skirts as well as chrome exhaust pipe. On the inside too, it will have aluminum inserts.
Information on the pricing of the Polo GT is not yet available. But the 1.2-liter engine will make it qualify for cuts on excise duty. So expect a competitive price tag on the Polo GT.
