Last week, we told you that Ford unveiled their electric car Ford Mustang Mach-E. Now, Volkswagen recently revealed a new EV wagon at the 2019 LA Auto Show called the ID Space Vizzion.

This one might actually make it into production in Europe and North America. The ID Space Vizzion is the seventh concept that VW has introduced since 2016 that uses its MEB platform, a flexible modular system that consists of a matrix of common parts for producing electric vehicles, and according to VW, makes it more efficient and cost-effective.

The ID Space Vizzion is equipped with a rear-mounted 275 HP motor and a 82 kilowatt-hour battery pack with a range of up to 300 miles under the EU’s WLTP cycle. To give it an AWD capability, a second motor can be added and a total output of 355 HP. While the concept is of four seats, Volkswagen has said that a three rear seat version might also be possible.

There is a large center console, which can be folded out, with storage areas, drink holders and USB-C ports. The infotainment system is in the center and has touch activated surfaces for functions such as media or phone like the Tesla Model 3.
