Volkswagen T-Roc Will Be Launched In India On 18th March

Volkswagen India, at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2020, introduced their new brand logo and also mentioned that their focus will be mainly on introducing SUVs for the Indian Market and hence during the event they also unveiled the line of SUVs for the Indian market which will soon be launched.

Volkswagen will announce pricing for its new SUV for India, the T-Roc on March 18, 2020. The launch of the T-Roc will be after the market introduction of the Tiguan AllSpace which is a 7 seater and extended version of Tiguan, that will take place on March 3.

The T-Roc was unveiled recently at the Auto Expo 2020 in February and bookings are currently open at all Volkswagen dealerships in India. Volkswagen will bring the T-Roc to India as a full-import initially, under the 2,500 car rule

The Volkswagen T-Roc will be powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine that generates 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission. The safety feature list will include six airbags, ABS, ESC and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and more.

VolkswagenT-Roc introduces many new design elements, including a larger hexagonal grille, LED DRLs integrated into the bumper rather than the headlight module, contrast coloured roof, more noticeable C-pillar design and hidden exhaust tips.

Volkswagen T-Roc will compete with the likes of Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson.
