As always, Audi India has launched a cheaper variant of their 2011 Audi A6 and it’s the same 2.0 liter TDI engine under the hood. Audi have dubbed this as a business executive sedan. As it is the 2011 Audi A6 is technologically very advanced than all its rivals and is also lighter than them. Now, with the introduction of the 2.0 liter TDI engine, the total tally of engines under the hood of the A6 now comes to 4. This new model is immediately available for sale in Audi show rooms.

The price of the 2011 Audi A6 2.0 TDI is Rs 37.70 lakhs, ex-show room, Delhi. The new A6 also boasts of having a new body structure which not only includes Audi’s trademark aluminium but also some other hybrid source of bodyshell technology. This new technology is named as Audi Ultra. 177 Bhp of power is generated from the 2.0 liter TDI engine and at the same time, this sedan promises 18.9 kmpl, which is again an ARAI certified figure. Audi India’s Head Michael Perschke said that the company is very confident that this model would sell in larger numbers given the diesel orientation of the Indian market as also the presence of class leading features in this sedan.
