Since its introduction in the year 2009, Mahindra Xylo has gained its first most significant redesign and an all-new avatar of multipurpose vehicle, which was revealed today a while ago at the launch function scheduled in Mumbai. The 2012 Mahindra Xylo features new headlights with incorporated turn indicators, roof spoiler and more rectangular looking grille. The interior gets plenty of features such as cruise control, steering column mounted phone and audio controls and voice controls. One of the largest changes in 2012 Xylo is beneath the hood and gets a mHawk lighter 2.2 litre powerplant, which at present powers Mahindra Scorpio.

The 2012 Mahindra Xylo is available in five different variants, which include D4, D2, E8, E9 and E4.

The E8 and E4 variants are designed for family, while D4 and D2 variants are for tourist and Fleet owners.
