2014 Hyundai Elantra is finally unveiled. Korean carmaker has tweaked its body style, and also the interiors.
Talking about the exteriors first, it is learnt the car had been given LED guide light and projection headlamps to create catchy looks. Hopefully, it is set to draw consequences with many of the bugs of its same class; tail lamps also not waived off from the fresh clot of expenditure. Topping the chart of all cosmetics 17” redesigned alloys are giving the fresh attire a smelting looks of the good value, but we find more of the changes on bumpers as well. Front bumper is notched by 5mm while the rear one is increased by 15mm. Overall length of car is also stretched by 20mm, but sadly the wheelbase tends to remain same.
Rear bumper is given the extravagant of two tone paint job too.
Interior feels more upmarket than before. Repositioned air vents and the centre arm rest, ventilated seats, 3.5-inch OLED display, and an addition of the AC vents on rear seat, makes this car a must buy for a one who prefers poor man’s Mercedes range first rather than going higher than it.
Engine specifications are said to remain same with that of the 1.6L motor, we also expect the diesel model to deploy six-speed automatic transmission for better optimization of the segment in terms of added lucrative fact. Hyundai’s advanced Idle Stop & Go technology to also be there in the new version for assisting fresh term of comfort in the 2014 Elantra.
However, we are not been so heavily bestowed with loads of information but say, will add more of it whenever we will find ourselves on new bites.
