The 2012 Jaipur Auto Expo was a unique blend of fashion and cars. It was the largest show held in Rajasthan, with all Indian car makers boasting their models at this mega fair. The 2012 Jaipur Auto Expo witnessed popular cars from several brands and newly launched cars in India. The Auto Fashion show and Stunt show were the highlights of the event.

There were online passes available from a week before the event, however you could buy yourself an entry ticket from outside the fair itself.

The 2012 Jaipur Auto Expo featured amazing vehicles from every segment including two-wheeler, three-wheeler, electric vehicles, commercial vehicles and premium class vehicles.

Some of the cars that attracted much attention were the new Maruti Swift Dzire, A-Star, Alto K10, new Swift and SX4.

Mahindra and Mahindra launched the new Xylo on 8 Feb, 2012, and this was a major attraction at the auto fair. The compact Mahindra Gio, which is a potential rival of the forthcoming Bajaj RE60, was also seen here.

The French car maker Renault, recently launched the luxury SUV Renault Koleos, which will compete in market against BMW’s X1 and Chevrolet Captiva. This French luxury SUV was also seen at the fair along with Renault’s premium hatchback, Pulse.

Honda Siel Cars India Limited displayed its entire fleet of cars in the auto fair. This included the new City, Brio, Jazz and Accord.

BMW displayed what it called the cheapest luxury crossover, the BMW X1 along with the mid-segment luxury SUV BMW X3.

Force Motors, displayed its first passenger vehicle, Force One at the 2012 Jaipur Auto Expo.

German carmaker Volkswagen presented its premium hatchback, Polo along with Vento and Passat.

Ford India boasted its recently launched Figo, new Fiesta and Endeavour.

Hyundai displayed the i10, Verna and Eon LPG.

Tata displayed its baby hatch Nano, New Indica Vista and Manza. It also boasted the crossover Aria

Fiat Linea, Nissan Sunny and Skoda Rapid also found room on this event.

Apart from cars, there were other attractions, like a simulator machine provided by Jaipur RTO, which gave directions of save driving tips and techniques. It was a chance for entrepreneurs to display their product line. There was a variety of products from oils, lubricants, car accessories and car decors. The companies also displayed their safety tools along with automobile tyres and latest gadgets.
