Strictly for the track use, not street legal!

When nothing works but the best, Aston Martin didn’t wish to stay behind in the race set by Ferrari and McLaren. Sportingly, it grabbed the attention of all aspirers around the world by unveiling its new Vulcan ahead of Geneva Motor show. The car is strictly for the track use, and not a street-legal. The new Vulcan possesses the power-to-weight ratio exceeding the cars of FIA World Endurance Championship. So, those wishing to buy a track-spec big racecar and wished it to be from the finest British car making techniques, then there is nothing better than Vulcan.

Shelled completely on the monocoque chassis with carbon fibre, it sports unique designing cues, like front grille integrating into the splitter. Power supplied by a 7.0-litre V12 naturally-aspirated petrol engine sends 800bhp to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox. Adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars front and rear both, driver-oriented adjustable anti-lock braking, limited-slip differential and variable traction control takes the care of driving sense. Brembo brake calipers bites effectively the 380mm ceramic discs at front and 360mm at rear.

Hence, there will be only 24 limited Vulcan units to be built. And buyers will be entitled an opportunity for a track day programme, which the other cars of this segment also boasts to specify owners about the detailing. Aston Martin Racing’s experienced racer Darren Turner will share his expertise on the day at track. Alongside, for confused and curious minds, Aston Martin will allow them to drive the other models like One-77, V12 Vantage S and a Vantage GT4 race car to make up their confidence before going inside the Vulcan.
