Audi recently rolled out a Limited Edition of R8 in China.
It is draped in Hot Nordic Gold Paint with titanium grey strokes, matte black trim and complementing 19” alloy wheels. Sideblades , rear wing and mirrors are done with matte black fiber.
For the interiors, knee pads are covered with shark skin leather, while the ends of Alcantara sport seats are locked with contrasting stitches. Door sill trims looks compressed with aluminum inserts that flashes Audi R8 logo brightly, and thoughtfully door trim inserts along central console inlays are matched with body color.
Top of all, aluminum gear knob is encrypted with the prestigious limited edition numbers ranging from 1 to 33, excluding 4, 14 and 24 as the numerical ‘4’ is considered unlucky for Chinese.
Audi Golden Beauty burns its rubber with a 5.2 liter power dome which melts a 525 hp and 530 Nm of torque. This powermill is assimilated with an R tronic transmission and the Quattro all wheel traction that speeds from 0-100 kmph in 3.9 seconds.
Golden Audi R8 will go to the vaults of 30 limited owners who can issue a fat figured checque of 2,628,000 Yuan (USD 422,820).
