Audi E-Tron To Be Revealed In India In June Indian Drives

The Audi e-Tron all-electric SUV is slated for its India unveiling on June 27 th in Mumbai. Launch of the e-Tron has already been delayed due to various issues ranging from battery faults to production related issues.

Given the price and the car’s niche battery-powered status, Audi is not betting big on the e-Tron for India. It realises that demand would be low since the Indian auto market is not yet prepared for a fully electric car and that too at a price of Rs.1.5 crore.

Once launched, the e-Tron would sit in between Q5 and Q7 in terms of size and would be powered by two different electric motors – a 125kW at the front and 140kw at the rear. The car would come with a top speed of 200kmph and would do 0 to 100 kmph in 5.5 seconds.
