Audi doesn’t seems to be satisfied with 552 horsepower RS 6 Avant, as it planned to roll out a more powerful RS 6 Avant Plus.
This not-so merciful wagon is still under cover which is expected to see some light in the upcoming Geneva event. As per our assumptions, it will get the more ponies due to reduced weight being derived from carbon fiber and aluminum components, as the new trend that had gripped auto fraternity.
In a chat with some media personnel, Stephan Reil, the head of Audi, Quattro division said that RS 6 Avant needs to grow its power by a roughly 9%, to make a swooping clash when it is being rolled out with a Plus badge. This statement had sparked the fire to 600 hp in the Quattro new mighty offering.
It will be regular production model instead of a limited one.
Reil also added that, “A Plus model should always handle differently than the standard car,” which can be justified with the model-spec suspension to be on its board for providing a sportier but comfy ride.
