Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 Launched In India At Rs 93,690

Bajaj Auto has launched the NS 125 in the Indian market. The Bajaj Pulsar NS 125 motorcycle is priced at Rs 93,690, ex-showroom (Delhi). The new motorcycle is now the brand’s entry-level offering in the NS line-up.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 features a design and equipment borrowed from its elder siblings the NS 160 and the NS 200. The motorcycle is available in four colour options: Beach Blue, Fiery Orange, Burnt Red and Pewter Grey.

Customers looking to purchase the motorcycle can either visit their nearest Bajaj dealership or book the motorcycle online via the brand’s website. Deliveries of the motorcycle are expected to start soon across the country.

The NS 125 does not borrow its engine from the KTM 125 Duke. The engine on the NS 125 is the same as the ones powering the standard Pulsar 125. However, the unit on the NS is in a different state of tune.

The single-cylinder air-cooled DTS-i 125cc unit produces a maximum of 11.8bhp and a peak torque of 11Nm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed standard gearbox. In comparison, the engine on the standard Pulsar 125 produces 0.2bhp less power and torque. However, the NS 125 tips the scale at 144kg (kerb) — 2kg heavier than the standard Pulsar 125.

The Pulsar NS 125 features the same design as its elder siblings. It features a perimeter frame for enhanced handling and riding dynamics. Other features include Halogen headlamps, LED taillamps, a semi-digital instrument cluster, split-seat design, clip-on handlebars and more.

Suspension duties on the NS 125 are done via a telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear. Braking is done via a 240mm disc up front and a 130mm drum at the rear. There is no optional disc brake offered on the motorcycle. It also features a combined braking system for additional safety.
