BMW launched 1 Series in India a couple of days back, now the facelift of same is seen testing somewhere in Europe.

We are not disappointed regarding the so-late launch of the Bavarian premium hatchback here, but the nip and tuck is given to it is not as ‘serious’ as compared to other of its rival in the niche repertoire.

Looking at the spy-shots, it looks likely front bumpers and front grille may be receiving the updates, while rear fascias and other bits are maintained intact to conclude the new avatar of BMW hatchback.

Interior too may strike some changes on the facelift 1 Series, but there doesn’t seem any camouflage hiding the cabin tweaks.

Engine specifications tend to remain same to what it is of now. The 1995cc BMW TwinTurbo diesel of 143Hp and 1598cc TwinTurbo four-cylinder petrol motor of 136Hp, which were actually launched in India recently, to be there too in its bay for the coming days.
