BMW 530d M Sport revealed, old 530d to be discontinued

BMW has revealed its latest addition to its product portfolio in the Indian auto market – the 5 series 530d M Sport. The new 530d M Sport will replace the currently available 530d from the Indian market. However, the older 530d will continue to sale until the stock lasts. The new 530d M Sport will be having a price tag of Rs. 51.99 lakh (ex-showroom price Mumbai). However, for now dealers are offering a discount price of about Rs. 3 lakh in order to encourage buyers.

The new 530d M Sport is powered by the same 3.0 liter, 6-cylinder diesel engine which produces 258 bhp of power. The interior features a multi-function leather wrapped steering wheel, special M sport seats, door sills with M badge and a special anthracite colored headliner. The BMW bigger 10.2 inch LCD display now features i-Drive.

The M Sport package also comes with a 18 inch alloys, special carbon black metallic paint, an aerodynamic package complete with wide skirts and a chrome covered exhaust at rear. Incredibly the new 530d M Sport cost just about Rs. 49,000 more than the older version.
