Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse: Geneva 2012

Highlighted at the Bugatti’s stage at Geneva Motor Show is the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, the world’s fastest convertible. We have seen its predecessor, the Veryon Super Sport, which was built for one thing and one thing only- making the world speed record of 267.81 mph.

Borrowing the same engine from Super Sport , which is a 1,200 hp, 8.0-litre, quad-turbocharged W16, and fitting it into the drop-top, Grand Sport, we get the world’s fastest convertible. Its top speed has not been put to test yet, and who knows, it might become the world’s fastest production car alongside being the fastest convertible.
