GM had revealed its SAIL hatchback back in November last year and now it is all set to unveil the Sail Sedan in India on February 1st with a possible price tag of Rs. 6 lakhs. The company has already revealed the images of the Sail sedan and has also unveiled the features. Now, the Sail sedan has already made its way to the dealers across India. You can pre-book your car right now with a booking amount of Rs. 51,000. Chevrolet Sail Sean will be replacing Aveo in product lineup, which has not been able to do any good for the company till date. The new vehicle will be equipped with 1.3 litre multijet diesel engine and a 1.2 litre Smartech 4-cylinder petrol engine is all set to do wonders for the company. The 1.2 litre petrol trim is the same engine that currently powers Sail U-VA and Beat. It delivers maximum power of about 4bhp and high torque of 116 Nm. The 1.3 litre multijet engine is also reliable and proven one and the similar engine is hired in one of the prime rivals like Maruti Swift Dzire.

Both the engine will be coupled with the 5 speed manual gearbox. The new sedan will also be featuring advanced safety features like ABS, twin airbags, EBD among several others.

As a whole the new Sail Sedan has hired everything that requires it to become a good competitor in the C segment. All Chevrolet need to do is to keep the price in the competitive range to lure more buyers. More detail about the car will be out with its launch.
