Shuffling the cards before game starts, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (DICV), the 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of the world’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer Daimler AG, announced the departure of Mr. VRV Sriprasad as Vice President- Marketing, Sales and After-sales, from DICV, with effect 01 May 2014. Mr. R Ramesh who was hitherto AVP – Aftersales will take-over as Head –Aftersales & Exports and Mr. V Sreeram, who was hitherto AVP – Sales will take-over as Head – Domestic Sales, Product Management & Network.Both functions will report to the Managing Director and CEO of DICV.
Mr. VRV Sriprasad, who was associated with DICV since 2008, has pumped in a number of efforts to bring the brand at the point where it is standing now. He had worked out various strategies and other streaks to bring in the sales to the brand.
Mr. Marc Llistosella, Managing Director and CEO, DICV, said, “Mr.Sriprasad has played a very important role in the creation of the high-performance brand ‘BharatBenz’ and setting up a strong marketing, sales and aftersales team for DICV. His immense knowledge and experience has helped DICV to establish itself as a comprehensive player in the commercial vehicle industry, today. Despite the challenging market scenario and other roadblocks, Sriprasad has been successful in implementing a strong foundation for us to leverage on.
