First Picture of the Honda Amaze Diesel Released

Honda has come up with its first ever diesel engine compact Sedan, the Amaze, which will hit the Indian roads very soon. The petrol variant of Amaze has already been launched in Thailand.

Here is an overview on the features of the AMAZEing Car. The most exciting trait of the new Honda Amaze is that it will come with a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel. It works fine and runs great. As far as its design goes, it takes a lot of design features from the Brio hatchback with certain modifications in the new twin horizontal slat front grille and in bumper.

Rear design of Honda Amaze is similar to that of Honda City with wraparound tail-lamps. Overall, the design of the car is quite appealing and is sure to give tough competition to others.

The interior of the car is almost the same as of Brio hatchback. It has 50mm longer wheelbase with rear seat now have more space of around 350-375 litres.

As mileage always remains a concern for people buying cars in India, this 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine is expected to give a mileage of 24-25 kmpl. In India, both petrol and diesel variants of the car will be made available.
