Ford India Sales Slipped Down by 30% in February 2013

Ford looks on a high verge in the near future that’s why its present sales of Feb 2013 had fallen by a sharp 30.42%.

This time the company had sold only 7,253 units against 10,424 units in the same period of last calendar. Even the domestic sales had also collapsed by 44.12%, i.e. from 8,035 vehicles to 4,490 vehicles on comparison with 2012 February figures.

Adding bits on the present sales scenario, Vinay Piparsania, Ford India Executive Director (Marketing, Sales and Service) says, “In the domestic market, we continue to witness some tough and challenging conditions…policy uncertainty and resulting lowered consumer confidence is impacting our business.”

Ford India Sales Slipped Down by 30% in February 2013

With a bright vision of future plans Ford is claiming to make India a hub for small vehicles by exporting as much as possible.

Furnishing more shine to the blue prints, present numerical conveys an additional increment of 15.66% in exports.
