Ford introduces new Mondeo at 2013 Shanghai Auto Show

Ford has revealed the brand new Mondeo for the Chinese market at the highly anticipated 2013 Shanghai Auto Show.

As per reports, the new vehicle, Mondeo, also unveils the innovative 1.5-litre edition of the EcoBoost engine, which will be available in a lot of the company’s international models.

The well known US car manufacturer is yet to reveal power specifications of the new-fangled turbocharged engine. However, they are projected to be near 180bhp of power in addition 240Nm of torque.

Built of the company’s international CD4 podium, the innovative premium sedan boasts the Ford tracking arrangement, adaptive motor control as well as back blow-up seat belts.

The company is claiming to have the top notch fuel economy with this novel engine however the buffs will get the genuine facts when the Ford Fusion gets rolled out in the US market by the coming year (2014).

The said vehicle is also the primary Ford to acquire the headlights with light-emitting diode high-beam, low-beam and indication lighting.

The company has pledged to roll out eight novel vehicles by the next two years (2015) and the innovative Mondeo is anticipated to be a part of the group.

The sedan is likely to be introduced in the Indian market by the coming year to fight in the D-Section with new Skoda octavia, Hyundai Elantra Toyota Altis, and many others.

Marin Burela, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Changan Ford stated, “We have gone further in every aspect to bring to China the most premium Mondeo we have ever designed, developed and built.”

“It’s really a flagship vehicle, providing our Chinese clients class-leading levels of refinement, driving delight and thrill. It will lift up the bar in craftsmanship, approach and expertise, presenting our loyal Chinese clients what they truthfully value and desire in a car,” Marin Burela also said.
