Honda Amaze Diesel to be rolled out by April next year

Honda Cars India will be rolling out their much awaited Brio based sedan that was nicknamed as Amaze, by April next year in India.

Once introduced, the new Honda Brio Amaze will straightly challenge the section head, Maruti Suzuki DZire that simply clocks 12,000 vehicle units on a monthly basis.

The company’s new Brio sedan will hit the markets in both the options comprising petrol as well as diesel. Moreover, the new Honda Brio Amaze will also boast an automatic gear case.

The company will initially roll out Brio Amaze with manual gear case and afterward, launch the mechanical gear case to car buffs in the domestic market.

Mr. Jnaneshwar Sen, Senior VP, Sales & Marketing, Honda Cars India said that he has driven the Honda Brio Amaze diesel.

According to Mr. Jnaneshwar Sen, the novel Honda diesel car for the domestic market will be something the Indian automobile business is yet to taste. Influential and more effective than its contenders, the Honda Brio Amaze will also be lighter as compared to the Maruti’s renowned, DZire.

Honda is yet to disclose technological facts linked to the Brio Amaze sedan for the Indian market, but it is sure that it will be catered by an all aluminium 1.5L i-DTEC turbocharged diesel engine.

The vehicle will first be rolled out in the market of Thailand, where it will be locally made. In the Indian market additionally, Honda Brio Amaze will be locally made from their facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

With the introduction of their primary diesel car for the Indian amrket, Honda anticipates to recover their waning car sales.
