We all know how interesting it would be to watch the Indian GP in October, and with an Indian driver racing for us, it couldn’t get better. Both Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok (Lotus) would be driving in the GP of India. At the moment, Indian F1 driver, Narain Karthikeyan’s focus would be to do well in the practice sessions at Singtel Grand Prix tomorrow. He’d have ample time to race on Race Day for the October 30th Indian GP when India would be hosting its 1st F1 race at Buddh International Circuit, Delhi. Narain would be preparing hard for his home race with Indian F1 fans behind him and expecting some points at least from the HRT driver.

The Indian GP would see Narain carrying the Indian flag as he’s the 1st Formula One driver in India. Like other drivers who at some point would be racing in their home track, Narain too would be feeling the pressure, excitement and nervousness racing in front of home fans who expect him to do well.

HRT’s Narain Karthikeyan eyeing points at Indian GP in OctoberEarlier in the week, team boss of HRT, had made a decision that Narain indeed would be racing on October 30 in the Indian GP ending all previous speculations. The team boss feels Narain would have enough time on the car when he drives the Hispania car during practice sessions in Singapore tomorrow before driving the car for the main race on October 30. With sufficient time on board for Narain, he should be doing well, at least get some points for the home fans and HRT, probably sealing his place against Liuzzi, the driver who was driving for Force India Mercedes last season before a switch to Hispania Racing Team this season. Narain, however, is optimistic of scoring some points in October.
