India bound Jeep Cherokee unveiled

Prior to the New York Motor Show, the India bound Jeep Cherokee has been unveiled.

The Cherokee has become the first Jeep to make use of Chrysler’s innovative ‘Compact U.S. Wide’ platform that profits from independent front and back suspension.

As per Jeep spokesperson, the Cherokee has fuel economy of improved level with world-class-on-road dynamics and a bunch of their equipments.

Initially available in 9-speed auto gear case with choice of 2 engines, 3 types of 4×4 system and host of options for safety and technology, the Jeep expects Cherokee will contend strongly in the mid-sized SUV section.

The aerodynamic design, the bold styling are features that combine the company’s heritage with advanced technology.

The interior has premium material throughout with a high standard of building quality. Seat covers are available in leather and cloth.

Upgraded seats with new functions like heater and cooling are also available. You can also specify important features like leak wrapped steering wheel or a wireless charging pad (for those who have many devices).

The 3.5 inch grayscale or the optional 7-inch color with the previous clutter configures to disclose information related to economy, navigation etc.

New Jeep Cherokee

Standard multi 5-inch touch screen with a larger 8.4 inch system that includes Bluetooth and sat-nav. Apart from assistance park package myriad practically and off-road oriented upgrades are there. Safety includes s10 airbags and standard control.

Internationally the engine consists of 2.4 liter 4-cylinder Tigershark petrol and 3.2 (new) 8-6 pentastar. This Tigershark video uses Fiat’s Multi Air technology and features.

Those decided to head deep off-road can choose the ‘Active Drive Lock’ structure that adds a locking back differential for enhanced traction in deprived conditions.

New Cherokee marks the debut of Chrysler Adaptive cruise. Radar and video sensor is used to obstruct the vehicle. While the gaping is reduced dramatically, the control system can bring the car at a halt even if the person wants to drive.
