July Sees 18 percent Sales Increase for Honda

Seems Honda had a good run in the Indian market a far as July 2015 is concerned. The company has registered a growth of 18 percent in its overall sales for the month of July this year. In hard terms, the company sold 18,606 units in July this year compared to 15,709 units during the same time last year.

The most popular of Honda products in July was the Honda Jazz – 6766 units of which the company sold during the said period. Second most popular car the company during this time was the City sedan – 5180 units of which were sold. Sales figure for Amaze sedan and Brio hatchback stood at 4589 units and 1222 units respectively.

The disappointment for came in the SUV segment, where its CR-V did pretty badly and sold only 130 units for this month.

With the growth figure Honda officials in India and visibly happy and are planning to launch more vehicles in the Indian market in the days to come.
