Kia Discloses Its Cub Model at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show

The Seoul Motor show, in spite of being a new Auto show for the Korean market, has grabbed a lot of attention in its host country. This home market event is not that popular like the New York Auto show. But Kia, a Korean automaker, has a lot of hope over this show.

The Kia Cub four-door coupe is the latest concept of the company and a teaser has been presented to the people on Monday. The Chief Designer’s watchful eye even made the design more successful. This sub-4 meters SUV can be driven in all kind of terrains.

The interiors are extremely luxurious, but the concept of traditional B-pillars is missing. Seoul Motor show The 2+2 luxurious seating includes black leather trim with yellow accents. The controls of the instrument panel include both gestures and touch.

The aerodynamically enhanced model has white and yellow stripes on the outside. The drag is reduced by specially designed mirrors and the door opens with a simple touch. A 1.6 litre four cylinder engine with twin turbo is given and the horsepower is 201.

The car speeds up from 0-100 km/h in just 7.7 seconds. The decision of manufacturing the cub is still not sure but consumer’s demand can change their decision to build it up.
