If you buy a Mercedes-Benz AMG then you can sign up for AMG Driving Academy, buy a BMW and you can register for attaining BMW Performance Driving School or you can choose a Porsche and could take part in the Porsche Sport Driving School.

These are not just the few manufacturers that can offer you to with driving schools. Nearly every sport car manufacturer has tie-ups with driving schools that are always equipped, ready and willing to show you the true capabilities of your ride. Until now, MINI was still missing from the scene.

But the things have now changed as MINI has announced its MINI Performance Motoring School, which is being run by the co-founder of Miles Ahead teen driver safety program, Stephan Gregoire. As a matter of fact MINI is also branding its Performance Motoring School as the extension of the Miles Ahead program with the curriculum that has been designed to suit more experienced drivers.

Classes will be conducted at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The classes will be conducted with a 2013 MINI John Cooper Works Hardtops on the infield road course of the track. Miles Ahead is the only driving school that has been allowed to conduct training on the Speedway grounds.

If the location is not something that excites you, then you can probably consider the list of instructors that will be instructing the whole program, they includes; Gregoire and Alex Lloyd from IndyCar alum along with Dan Clark Zach Veach, Stefan Wilson, Stephan Simpson, Rayan Lewis and Dillon Battisitini.

Single day in the school is priced at $995 but if you are willing to pay additional $250 they will allow two drivers to share the same vehicle. This will reduce the seat time for you but will be lowering the price to about $622.50 per person. That can make a lot of difference if money is something that you might consider before joining the course, if isn’t go for the single one.

The classes will be starting from June and will continue until November, so if you are kin on booking a spot for yourself then just go to the Miles Ahead website and register to get started. This might be the chance to experience something different from the experts.
