Africa needed it the most, so Land Rover launched a limited edition of Defender there restricted to 50 units only.

The off-roader is made available only for Defender 90 and 110 trims.

A ‘born-tough’ attitude, red roof, Santorini black finish, saw tooth on alloys are the gimmicks guaranteed with this package. Inside the cabin, SUV gets red piping on black seats. If still, the Africans are left craving, then optional accessories like roof rack, snorkel, bumper caps, rear step, and a front protection bar just are a perfect treat for them.

Land Rover Defender Africa Edition Launched Limited To 50 Examples

Power to this British vehicle comes from the outgoing diesel engine of 2.2-liter and four-cylinder mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 0-100 is reached in 15.8 seconds while the top-speed remains of 145kmph.

Hence, the African Defender edition is launched at a starting price of 523,000 Rand (approx Rs 29 lakh) for 90 trim, which goes up to 562,000 Rand (Rs 31.7 lakh).for the other one.
