Maruti Offering Discounts of up to Rs.100000 on the S-Cross

Maruti is offering of discounts of as much as Rs.100000 on the S-Cross merely two months after the launch of the car. The company is clearly feeling the weight of competition and has made this announcement on the eve of the festive season in an attempt to boost sales and latch on to the excitement.

The discounts are available across the country and range from about Rs.20000 to Rs.100000. The 1.6-litre DDiS 320 is being offered with Rs.100000 discount and Rs.20000 discount on the DDiS 200 1.3-litre engine. This is available in both the NCR and Chennai region. The discount will fall to Rs.90000 for the rest of the country. In addition to this, there are various discounts being offered as part of an exchange offer as well.

Maruti Offering Discounts of up to Rs.100000 on the S-Cross

Bookings are open only till 30th September though in order to avail the discount. So if you are looking to get the car you should deposit the Rs.11000 initial booking amount as soon as you can. It still leaves enough time to decide on model and variant and will probably be the best time to book the car. Maruti has not been performing exceptionally well and it is hoping that this bit of marketing will help it to add in terms of sales. With competition likely to respond similarly it will be noteworthy to see how this works out.
